Neglect Those Arms No More with these 3 Moves!

Its time to start paying some attention to those arms. These three movements are an awesome way to show some love to those long forgotten arms and even engage your core as well! In no time you’ll be able to bust out those tank tops and shoulder baring blouses. Yay!

For these exercises all you will need is a pair of dumbbells:

Lateral raises
This move will fire up those shoulders and engage your core. To start grab a pair of dumbbells and hold them at your side, feet about shoulder width apart. Lift both arms straight out to your side palms face down then slowly lower back down. Complete 10-12 reps or until you feel the burn!

Plank rows
Planks are the perfect exercise for strengthening those abdominal muscles. Add in a row and boom…. The perfect core, arm and back combo! In this exercise grab your dumbbells(flat sided dumbbells for stability) and get into plank position. Raise one arm at a time into row position being careful to not allow your body to rotate side to side. Repeat alternating rows on each side till you’ve done ten rows on each side.

Hammer curls to Overhead Press
This is another great move that will engage those biceps and shoulders all in one exercise. Tightening those abs will also help strengthen your core! To begin, hold dumbbells at your side palms facing in and feet shoulder width apart. Keeping your upper arms stationary, bend your elbows and curl the weight toward your shoulders. Go into the overhead press by extending through the elbow and pushing dumbbells up arms by your ears. Bring arms back down to shoulder level and slowly lower back down to your sides. Repeat for 10-12 reps.
